Elliott Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Mary Elam’s Success Story!
Mary came to Elliott Nursing & Rehabilitation following a hospital stay with a goal of regaining her strength, independence, and ability to return home. Upon arrival, she needed additional support with mobility and her activities of daily living while continuing to use supplemental oxygen as part of her recovery.
With determination and a strong commitment to her goals, Mary worked closely with our Occupational and Physical Therapy teams to rebuild her strength, improve her endurance, and enhance her balance. Through consistent effort and perseverance, she made remarkable progress each day.
Thanks to her hard work and the support of her dedicated care team, Mary successfully achieved her goal of returning home independently. One of her many accomplishments was no longer requiring supplemental oxygen at discharge—a testament to just how far she had come throughout her rehabilitation journey.
Mary’s story is a wonderful reminder of what determination, teamwork, and quality rehabilitation can accomplish. We are honored to have been part of her recovery journey and wish her continued health and happiness at home.
Congratulations to Mary and her amazing care team on this wonderful achievement!
